Who we are
Alchemy Print Co. is a custom screen printing and apparel decorating business located in Vista, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through alchemyprintco.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information you give us
When you request a quote or contact us. Our quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, and details about the job. Depending on the order you may also provide a company name, artwork files, quantities, due dates, and, for wholesale accounts, a resale ID number and California resale certificate.
When you create an account or place an order. Our online store collects your name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, and order details. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
When you upload artwork. Files you send us are stored so we can produce your order. We do not use your artwork for any purpose other than fulfilling your job, and we do not sell or license it.
When you use our design tool. Designs you create and save are stored with your account so you can return to them.
When you contact us by phone, email or chat. We keep those messages so we can answer you and keep a record of the job.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our analytics and advertising tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and general location (typically city level). This happens through cookies and similar technologies.
We currently use:
- Google Analytics — how people find and use the site
- Google Ads — measuring which ads lead to inquiries
- Microsoft Advertising (Bing) — the same, for Bing ads
- RollWorks — advertising audiences
- Google Tag Manager — manages the tags above
- Cognito Forms — hosts our quote form
- Tidio — live chat, if you use it
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what they do with data they collect.
Why we use your information
- To prepare quotes and answer your questions
- To produce, proof and deliver your order
- To process payments and issue receipts
- To handle reprints, corrections and warranty questions
- To send order updates
- To send marketing email, only if you asked for it
- To measure which marketing brings in real customers
- To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact details with other businesses for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Payment processors
- Shipping carriers
- Blank apparel and materials suppliers, when a garment ships directly
- Our web host, form provider and email provider
- Our accountant and, where required, tax authorities
- Advertising and analytics providers, as described above
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
If the business is ever sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction. We would post notice here before that happened.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep your cart and account working, remember preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies are needed for the store and account areas to work; blocking those may break parts of the site.
How long we keep things
- Quote requests and inquiries: up to 3 years
- Order records, invoices and artwork: at least 7 years, for tax and reprint purposes
- Account information: until you ask us to delete it
- Analytics data: per the retention period set in each platform
Your rights in California
Alchemy Print Co. is a small business that falls below the thresholds at which the California Consumer Privacy Act formally applies. We describe these rights and honor these requests anyway, because we think you should have them.
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions such as completing an order or meeting a legal obligation
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
We do not sell personal information for money. The advertising cookies described above may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time by disabling cookies in your browser, turning on a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, or emailing us at info@alchemyprintco.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
To make any request, email info@alchemyprintco.com or call 760-650-2282. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming details of a recent order. We aim to respond within 45 days. You may designate someone to make a request on your behalf.
Children
This site is intended for business customers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. School orders are placed by staff, parents or booster organizations, not by students. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites, including our online design tool and payment processors. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be noted on this page.
