Most event activations get looked at once. A live screen printing press running in the corner pulls a queue all evening, and every person who joins it walks away wearing something they watched get made. Corporate parties, weddings, brand activations and school fundraisers across North County San Diego.

WhatguestsareWatching

Four moves, about forty seconds a shirt, repeated all night. It is genuinely good to watch, which is the whole point.

1

Load

Shirt goes on the platen and gets squared up under the screen.

2

Flood

Ink is pulled across the screen to fill the mesh before the print stroke.

3

Pull

One firm pass with the squeegee pushes the ink through onto the fabric.

4

Cure

Straight under the flash dryer so it is dry, set and wearable in seconds.

01 · Setup

We bring the whole screen printing setup

Screen printing press, inks, screens, table, and the crew to run it. You give us a corner and a power outlet.

Setup takes about an hour before the first print, and that hour is included in every package. Pack down is quicker.

We need cover if you are outdoors. The press and the flash dryer cannot get wet.

02 · Artwork

One design, locked a week out

Send us the artwork about a week before. Screens have to be burned and the press set up before we arrive, so late artwork is the one thing that genuinely causes problems.

Live printing runs one color on press. If you want more than one, we bring DTF transfers and heat press them on the spot, which costs a little more but gives you full color.

No print-ready file? Send whatever you have and we will redraw it.

LiveeventprintingQuestions

How many shirts can you print in an hour?

Between 60 and 100 per hour on one press, depending on the design and how the queue moves. For bigger events we can run a second press for an additional fee.

How many colors can you print live?

One color on the press. That is what keeps a live setup moving fast enough to keep a queue happy. If you want more than one color we bring DTF transfers and heat press them on the spot instead, which gives you full color for a little more. Maximum print size either way is 11 by 11 inches.

How much space do you need?

A 10 by 10 foot area, and less if the venue is tight. We need two standard 120V circuits on separate breakers.

Who supplies the garments?

Either works. Garments come from you, or we can supply them for an additional cost. Tell us the quantity and sizes and we will quote both ways.

How far in advance do you need the artwork?

About a week before the event. Screens have to be burned and the press set up before we arrive, so late artwork is the one thing that genuinely causes problems.

Can you print on things other than t-shirts?

Yes. Hoodies, totes, aprons, hats and posters all work. Heavier or unusual items are worth mentioning early so we can test them.

Can you travel outside San Diego County?

Yes. North County is our home patch, so anywhere in it comes with no travel charge, including Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Escondido, Encinitas, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe. We cover the rest of San Diego County just as happily, and travel to Orange County, Riverside and Temecula regularly. Anything further afield is quoted separately.

What happens if it rains?

We need cover. A tent, a marquee or an indoor corner all work. The press and the flash dryer cannot get wet, so an outdoor booking without a backup plan is a risk worth talking about early.

How long does setup take?

About an hour before the first print, and that hour is included in every package. Pack down is quicker.

Do guests pick their own size?

Yes. We bring a size run and people choose as they reach the front. It is worth telling us your expected split so we bring the right mix.

Can we use it as a fundraiser?

Yes, and schools do this often. You charge for the shirt, we charge for the printing, and the difference is yours.

How do we book?

Send the date, the venue and a rough guest count. We will tell you straight away whether we are free and what it costs.
